Every time I go to Nogales I have to stop by this place. The tortillas are handmade and the borrego is very tasty not stinky as other places. Compare to the Mercado birria the prices and service and parking is better

I've eaten a lot of birria and regularly (weekly) eat at my favorite spot in South Tucson. This place is hands down THE BEST BIRRIA!Fresh handmade tortillas (hecha a mano), delicious soup (sheep stew), generously large portions, and very inexpensive.It's hole-in-the-wall places like this that display the simple but downhome goodness of traditional Mexican food that abuelita (grandma) has been making for generations for her family.

Great tatemada lamb birria!!! In my opinion the best in Nogales, almost no one knows about this place so there is never a wait to sit down, but it is delicious, I order mixed tacos (tatemada/regular). The tortillas are handmade and the portions are quite generous. They are definitely worth giving them a try, I honestly don't think they will disappoint.
